Thanks to the generosity of its donors and to favorable earnings on its investment portfolio, The Catholic Foundation of the Diocese of Lubbock, Inc., has awarded 2013 grants totaling $95,000, including $85,000 to the Diocese of Lubbock to use in its important programs and ministries, and another $10,000 to parishes, Catholic schools and organizations. In celebration the Official Opening of the Judicial Year, the 13th Annual Judicial Red Mass will be Tuesday October 1, 2013. The Catholic Foundation of Lubbock invites all judges, attorneys and legal professionals from throughout the 25 county diocese, Catholic and non-Catholic alike, as well as all who have a concern for peace and justice. The keynote speaker for 2013 is a Lubbock local, Texas Supreme Court Justice Phil Johnson.

Individual grant awards will be for $500, $750 or $1,000.
